Cherie is a character in Solar Opposites and, a Benihana waitress, was shrunken by Yumyulack after serving him shrimp despite his explicit refusal.
Tim rescued Cherie from scavengers, and she corrected him about a quote he confused from Terminator and Predator. Together with Tim and Pedro, she embarked on a mission to secure insulin for Pedro’s father from the Duke. Although the Duke handed over the insulin to Enrique, he executed Pedro in response to the riot he instigated.
Cherie is one of the Humans in the Wall
In “The Lavatic Reactor” episode, Cherie, Tim, and Enrique attempted to disrupt the Duke’s food supply. However, Enrique betrayed them, joining the Duke’s enforcers. In retaliation, the Duke cast Cherie into the Boo-Hoo Hole, which appeared to result in her death.

Cherie’s Evolution
In the “Terry and Korvo Steal a Bear” episode, Cherie’s role culminated as she orchestrated Tim’s prison breakout to spearhead the resistance. After bonding over battle scars and a romantic encounter, they attended the Duke’s speech at the Bowinian church. Despite an attempt on their lives by one of the Duke’s enforcers, they survived and rallied the resistance into battle.
However, the Duke’s act of flooding the Wall’s lower levels claimed hundreds of lives. Storming the Duke’s palace, they discovered his escape route – a hole in the wall indicating a possible way out.
Yet, as Cherie attempted to reveal this to the public, Tim betrayed her, stabbing her with a toothpick and declaring the Duke’s and Cherie’s deaths. Her body was then ejected through the hole before it was sealed.
Human Heart of Cherie
Cherie made a dramatic comeback in “The Unlikely Demise of Terry’s Favorite Shot Glass”. Surviving with a broken leg, she attempted to scavenge for food in the backyard but unexpectedly encountered the Duke.
Initially fighting, they formed a friendship after being stuck in a toy ship together, under the threat of Jeff the Possum.
The Duke speculated Cherie’s pregnancy with Tim’s child, which proved accurate. In a heroic act, the Duke gave his life to defeat Jeff and advised Cherie to reach the nearby Walgreens for her childbirth. Dodging Jesse, Cherie took refuge in a Pez container where she gave birth to her child, Pezlie.
Their journey to Walgreens ended with the realization it was only a billboard ad. Returning to the Wall in time for Cherie Day, Cherie and Halk began plotting against Tim.
Appearance
Sporting red hair and an olive complexion, Cherie’s appearance took on a tanned hue after a year in the Solar Opposites‘ backyard. Originally, she wore her long hair with bangs in a ponytail while in The Wall.
However, upon joining the rebellion, she opted for a partially shaved look and let her hair down. On returning to the Wall, she styled her hair in a side plait, which later got trimmed to chin length, complemented by long side bangs. By the end of season two, she also displayed bags under her eyes.
Personality
Cherie embodies the unique blend of raw fierceness and gentle kindness, with a dash of innocence that sometimes teeters on naivety. Her unyielding devotion to those she holds dear knows no bounds, especially concerning her beloved daughter, Pezlie.
Her audacity to confront the most perilous challenges in their defense is heroic. Yet, beneath her strength, lies a deep-seated vulnerability carved by past betrayals.
The near-death experience at Tim’s hands has left her with profound trust issues, even leading her to shield Pezlie’s existence from almost everyone within the Wall’s confines. This intricate tapestry of strength, kindness, and caution makes Cherie an undeniably captivating character.
