The Story Behind the Vibe
Cartoon Vibe started in 2020 as my personal project to document the history of classic animation. What began as a side passion hit a nerve with fellow animation nerds, eventually growing into a site with over 70,000 monthly readers at its peak.
After taking a brief break to recharge between 2022 – 2025 – Cartoon Vibe is officially back, with deep dives, deep lore, and real context behind the cartoons we all grew up with.

I run Cartoon Vibe. Day to day, I analyze character lore, document behind-the-scenes studio history, and untangle the messy world of streaming rights and animation licensing.
I grew up raised on 80s and 90s TV, spending endless hours with Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney. Today, that passion covers everything from classic Japanese anime to modern streaming originals.
Animation is a powerful art form that deserves to be preserved.
