Hailey’s On It! is a comedic animated adventure series crafted by Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton for the Disney Channel. The series debuted with a special double episode on June 8, 2023, airing on Disney Channel and Disney+.
From the minds of Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton, known for Disney XD’s “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything,” this series is set in Oceanside, California.
It centers on Hailey, who steps out of her comfort zone, uncovering her inner potential.
Hailey consistently faces new hurdles and chances to overcome her fears, whether at the county fair, starring in a musical, bringing together a singing pair, or navigating complex feelings for her best friend, Scott.
Hailey’s On It!
For fans of Phineas and Ferb, this series is a treat. Beyond its sharp wit and periodic musical breaks, it’s a wholesome choice for families. The narrative moves swiftly, presenting compact episodes that resonate with everyone.
The concise nature of the stories eliminates fluff and ensures a satisfying conclusion. Rooted in a broad narrative landscape, the show is driven by an evolving “to-do” list, opening doors to limitless escapades. This adaptable blueprint ensures the series remains ever-evolving. I eagerly await the show’s next direction!
Hailey’s on It Characters
The series boasts writers such as Mary Gulino and Kevin Yee, with Karen Graci overseeing as the story editor. The inception of the character Beta stemmed from the writers’ desire to seamlessly “organize and prioritize list items,” veering away from the constant use of the list.
The concept of a high-tech smartphone was introduced, given its potential dynamic with Hailey.

Development
The initial idea for “Hailey’s On It!” sprouted when Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton envisioned a girl being inattentive to a time-traveling envoy.
Their intrigue in the characters flourished, eventually shaping the series’ narrative. On November 18, 2021, Disney Branded Television confirmed that the show had secured a slot for its 20-episode inaugural season. Meredith Roberts, an executive at Disney Television Animation, highlighted it as Bunje and Stanton’s debut animated series.
She characterized it as a “rapid-fire comedy” intertwined with “authentic narratives” and emotional depth, aligning seamlessly with Disney’s essence.
The show’s target audience was children between 6-14 years and their kin. By June 15, 2022, Disney Branded Television announced an extension of 10 episodes for the premiere season, culminating in a total of 30 episodes.
