He is Hop Pop’s grandson and Polly’s big brother, and his bottomless optimism is the perfect counterweight to Anne’s sarcasm. Justin Felbinger voices him, and the two of them have great comedic chemistry.
Hop Pop Plantar
Hopediah “Hop Pop” Plantar is the grandfather of the family and its worrier-in-chief. He is traditional, overprotective, and secretly a big softie, and he ends up serving as Anne’s guardian in Amphibia. He is voiced by Bill Farmer, who has been the voice of Goofy for decades, which I could not unhear once I noticed it.
Polly Plantar
Polly is the youngest Plantar, a tiny pollywog with an enormous personality and absolutely no fear. She is Sprig’s little sister and, yes, a frog girl in the making, sprouting legs by the end of the series. Amanda Leighton voices her, and she steals nearly every scene she is in.

I just recently watched this randomly and honestly, I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected.
At first, I thought it was just going to be a silly cartoon about a teen girl stuck in a frog world, but it actually has a lot more heart than that.
What I liked most was how the show mixed comedy, adventure, and emotional moments without feeling too heavy. The frog world is weird and funny, but the characters make it easy to care about what is happening.
I also liked the main character’s growth. She starts off a little reckless and unsure of herself, but over time you can see her becoming braver, more loyal, and more mature.
I would definitely recommend it, especially if you like cartoons with fantasy worlds, friendship, funny side characters, and a story that gets deeper as it goes on.
It is one of those shows that looks simple at first, but once you keep watching, you realize there is actually a really good story underneath it.
